He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lewis Bailey Sr. and Shirley Lou Bailey (Bortner); and his niece Tasha Bailey. He is survived by: his son Zachary S. Bailey (Amy); his grandchildren, Ava, John, Maryanne and Benjamin of Hummelstown; his daughter Laura L. Shelley (Jesse); his grandchildren, Brynn, Blake and Levi of American Fork, UT; his daughter Meredith E. Bennie (Jeffry); his grandchildren, Cameron, Lacy and Hadley of Saratoga Springs, UT.; his sister Sharon Popp (Ron) of Harrisburg; his nephew James Purcell; his cousin Robert Zimmerman of York; and his friends, George, Sharon Backenstoes, Donna Hiner, Bob Hollinger, Bob Koch, Tom McClay and Matthew Teichert. He is also survived by spouses, and ten grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory (88 Lucy Ave, Hershey, PA 17033). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, as Robert was a supporter of this organization. Keep Robert's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
