He was predeceased by: his father Robert L. Haines Sr.; and his wife Elizabeth M. Haines (Brown). He is survived by: his mother Dorothy E. Mikan (Ridge); his children, Darla L. Siegel (Robert) of Vienna and Robert L. Haines III of Hummelstown; and his grandchildren, Robert, Megan, Charlotte, Samuel and Adam.
