It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phil Rothermel of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, born in Shillington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 3, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Ernest Rothermel and Myrtle Rothermel (Potteiger) of Shillington; and his son Wade Rothermel of Harrisburg. He is survived by: his wife Shelly Rothermel (Robbins); his sons, Dan Rothermel (Robin) of Etters and Bill Rothermel of Australia; his stepchildren, Scott Deibler of Elizabethtown and Erin Stanley of Elizabethtown; his siblings, Dan Rothermel of Philadelphia and Gretchen Rothermel of Shillington; and his grandchildren, Logan Rothermel, Adam Rothermel, Allison Deibler, Reese Deibler, Quinn Stanley and Evan Deibler.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ACERA Care Hospice in Lancaster, Pa.
