He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Peffley and Ruth A. Bell Peffley; his wife Alveretta Reitz Peffley; his grandson Timothy Gutshall; and his siblings, Arlene Derr and Richard Peffley.
He is survived by: his daughter Dolores Gutshall (Harold) of Harrisburg; his grandson John Gutshall of Harrisburg; his great grandchildren, Jessica Palevo (Christopher) of Lebanon and Zachery Gutshall (Nicole) of Harrisburg; and his great great grandchild Greyson Gutshall of Harrisburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Hummelstown Food Bank, c/o Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 West Main Street, Hummelstown, PA 17036.
