She was predeceased by: her parent John Wert; her son Jeffrey Lee Murphy; her stepson Mark Fisher; and her siblings, Dorothy I. Lenker, Betty J. Cassel, Faye W. Wagner, Charles C. Wert and Wayne W. Wert.
She is survived by: her parent Elizabeth Nye Wert; her husband George W. Fisher; her son Edward John Murphy (Louise K.) of Grantville; her grandson Joshua Murphy of Phoenixville; her stepchildren, Lorene Taraschi (James), Robert Fisher (Lynn), Phyllis Lapidus (Arthur) of Pittsburgh, Rosemary Bickle (Donald) of Grantville and Kathleen Jennings (Michael) of Grantville; her sister Shirley M. Bonawitz of Hummelstown; and her sister-in-law Dorothy B. Nace Wert of Palmyra. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
