She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schmidt and Marjorie Schmidt (Knepper); and her brothers, John Schmidt Jr. (Nora) and Richard Schmidt (Dick). She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Lowry; her son-in-law Jason Lowry; her siblings, Joseph Schmidt (Darlene), Nancy Brought, Trudy Sass and Polly Parsons (Alan); and her sister-in-law Helen Schmidt (Richard). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
