He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Hunter Childs and Elaine Hawkins-Childs; and his sister Theresa A. Childs McDuffie. He is survived by: his wife Theresa D. Childs (Ritter) of Hummelstown; his siblings, Jeffrey Childs and Kelli Childs; his aunt Carrie Hawkins; his daughters, Alysse Childs and Sharay Childs; his grandchildren, Mia Saucedo, Aveyona Johnson, Dewayne Johnson, Keiyana Johnson, Adam Gibson III and Troy Gibson; and his nieces and nephews, Frederick McDuffie, Louis Brown, Monica McDuffie and Ilaynna Brown. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home (704 N Front St, Steelton, PA 17113). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
