He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Ortenzi and Santa Rozzi Ortenzi; his wife Alice Mae Kohr Ortenzi; his son Gregory Ortenzi; and his siblings, Nazzareno, Anthony Ortenzi, Rita Brightbill and Maria Ortenzi.
He is survived by: his children, Nathalie Ortenzi (Shawn Shiffler) and Giovanni Ortenzi (Louette); his siblings, Anna Cramer, Rose Marie Witt and Angelo Ortenzi; his grandchildren, Sophia, Clarissa, Lottie and Nicolas; and his great grandchild Liliana.
