It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joel David Henery of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, born in Lykens, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 1, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henery and Elizabeth Straub Henery; his wife Jean J. Henery; and his siblings, Charles, Kay, Dennis, Terry and Jean Henery.

He is survived by: his sons, Jason D. Henery (Melanie) of Mount Gretna and Justin A Henery (Lesley Gilotti) of Mechanicsburg; and his grandchildren, Sage, Xavier and Isabella Henery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hummelstown United Church of Christ, 104 East Main Street, Hummelstown, PA 17036.
