He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling L. Brown and Isabelle Brown (Miller); and his sister Barbara Shirk. He is survived by: his wife Cathy J. Brown (Eccles); his daughters, Kristen A. Cowles (Peter, Jr.) and Katherine A. Brown; his grandchildren, Taylor and Sydney Cowles; and his siblings, Beverly Tanner, Kimberly Hovis (Brian), Dr. Michael Brown (Kay) and Timothy Brown (Maggie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
