We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Janette Parenzan (Hummelstown, Pennsylvania), born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Dr. Walter and Helen Kotanchik; and her sister Lois Helene Solomon (Cameron). She is survived by: her husband Paul Edward Parenzan; her children, Craig Alan Parenzan (Caroline Penades) of Charleston, SC, Carol Sue Parenzan of Rochester, NY and Cathy Lynn Parenzan; her grandchildren, Brett Alan Penades Parenzan of Alexandria, VA, Alexander Henry Penades (Alec) and Rosalind Elise Parenzan; her great grandchild Connor Alan Parenzan of Alexandria, VA; her sister Sue Ann Kotanchik Lobb of Audubon, PA; and her friend Mary Lou Garrison. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family is establishing the R. Janette Kotanchik Parenzan Memorial Scholarship for graduates of Shamokin Area High School who plan to study nursing.
