He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Taylor and Elizabeth Belle Bowser Taylor; and his sisters, Elizabeth Foreman and Andrea Stoll. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Taylor of Palmyra and Eric Taylor (Allyn) of Lititz; his grandchildren, Hayden, Brody and Luke; and his siblings, Carol Miller of Myrtle Beach, Patricia Taylor of Acworth, GA, Ralph Taylor (Melanie) of Lorida, FL and Robert Taylor (Sheri) of Myrtle Beach. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Gigi's Playhouse, 2503 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601.

“My brother Alan Smith told me about Fred passing over. Fred was always a down to earth person and part of my families life for many years. He was a no B.S., genuine person which I highly appreciate in a world of disingenuous people. I know my brother will miss him very much and I have fond memories of the way he was with me as Smitty's little brother. Good guy, he will be missed but we will all take the journey someday and see our loved one's again. Smitty;s little brother Mark Smith”
