Asseng of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, born in Brooklyn, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Grady and Anne Grady (Reehill); her husband George A. Asseng, Sr.; and her son Thomas Asseng. She is survived by: her children, George Asseng, Jr. (Christina) of Odenton, MD, Michael Asseng (Deneen) of Deer Park, NY, Kenneth Asseng (Megan) of Hauppauge, NY, Barbara McDonald (Allen) of Uniontown, PA, Carol Sherlock (Thomas) of Wading River, NY, Virginia Waxman (Andrew) of Hummelstown, PA, Nancy O'Neill (John) of Massapequa Park, NY and Tricia Sullivan (Matthew) of Kingston, MA.. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
