It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edgar E. Plouse Jr. (Hummelstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 7, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar E., Sr. and Sylvia Cassel Plouse; his wife Sara Turns Plouse; his children, Patsy Plouse and Stephen Plouse; and his siblings, Grace Hurd, Sylvia Kipp and Cassel Plouse.

He is survived by: his daughters, Shirley Beck of Palmyra, Nancy Kirkpatrick of Palmyra, Susan Tezak (Alan) of Hershey and Sandra Mader (Thomas) of Harrisburg; and his grandchildren, Amanda Zabolotny (Matthew), Amy Beck, Ashlee Seaman (Justin), Matthew Beck, Brandon Tezak (Ashley), Ryan Tezak (Sarah), Brittany Jurell (Cory) and Wade Mader. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Edgar to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
