It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Smith Sr. of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 20, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Larue Samuel Smith and Caroline J. Kemler Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Eshelman Smith (Carol); his children, Donald E. Smith, Jr. (Christina) of Hummelstown, Robert Smith (Stefanie) of Shermans Dale and Carolann Frederick (Jay) of Camp Hill; his grandchildren, Danielle McCloskey (Michael), Torrie Shiley (Leia), Justin Smith, Robert Smith Jr. (Erin), Hunter Smith and Evan Shiley; his great grandchildren, Mathew McCloskey, Camden McCloskey and Owen Shiley; and his brother Frederick G. Smith (Carol) of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
