She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Varner and Sarah Henderson Varner; her husband Taylor H. Bechtel; her son Tarry Lynn Bechtel; her grandson Tarry L.; and her siblings, Earl and Grace.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis L. (Jill) of Middletown, Rickey A. (Karen) of Hummelstown and Douglas E. (Rachel) of Tower City. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
