With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Catharine M. Wright of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Catharine left this world on March 19, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hoke and Catharine Hoke (Spangler); her husband Richard "Larry" Wright; her daughter Angela; and her grandson David A. Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas A. Wright, Michael J. Wright (Pamela), Theresa E. Dawson (Gregory), Richard A. Wright, Sr., Timothy J. Wright, Sheila A. Wright, Andrew J. Wright (Stephanie), Christopher P. Wright (Rosie), Steven C. Wright and Matthew G. Wright (Crystal); and her siblings, Helen Ruhl and Robert Hoke. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:25 PM at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory (88 Lucy Ave, Hershey, PA 17033). Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (359 W Areba Ave, Hershey, PA 17033).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to either: ALS United Mid-Atlantic or PA Wounded Warriors. Keep Catharine's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
