With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carroll C. Porter of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, born in Hershey, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 26, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll C., Sr. and Luella Shepler Porter. He is survived by: his wife Bette H. Muchow Porter; his daughter Tara Porter Schaeffer (Dan) of Hummelstown; his stepdaughters, Rachel Dillon (Shontony) of Hummelstown and Tina Thompson of Hershey; his granddaughters, Maryn Trowbridge and Savannah Trowbridge; and his stepgranddaughters, Ashley Williams, Shontonel Cooke and Gracie Pho.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Susquehanna Valley Church, 6433 Union Deposit Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
