She was predeceased by: her parent Henry Merrill; her husband Alfred Munz; her son David Munz; her grandson Robert Andrew Hesch; her brother William Sharer; and her sister-in-law Charlotte Sharer.
She is survived by: her parent Elizabeth Mayne Sharer; her children, Nancy Elizabeth Hesch (Robert) of Townville, SC, Janice L. Anderson (Barry) of Hummelstown and Alfred G. Munz (Vicki) of Castanea; her grandchildren, Christopher Hesch (Kara) of Manhattan, NY, Missy Goodman (Chris Ilgen) of Lock Haven, Ryan Anderson of Harrisburg, Brett Anderson and Cara Anderson of Hummelstown; her great grandchildren, Elyse Goodman of Manhattan, Linzy Carson of Manhattan and Robert Kane Hesch of Manhattan; and her sister Catherine Forrest of Southampton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Lower Dauphin Communities That Care, 29 Waverly Drive, Hummelstown, PA 17036; or to Masonic Village, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 – please write in the memo line "Activities Fund at Lafayette East".
