We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Alan Sturgis Speaker Sr. of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore J. Speaker and Flora Sackett (Levengood); his former wife Joan Marie Speaker; his children, Alan Speaker Jr., Brian Speaker and Denise Gormley; and his siblings, Robert Speaker, Theodore Speaker, Marian Link and David Speaker.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Speaker (Hertzler); his daughter Jolynn Woerner (Clayton); his stepchildren, Victoria Zolenski, Susan Stamm, Audrey Tobman and John Zolenski; and his sisters, Marjorie Baratucci (Thomas) and Mary Catherine Mitchell (Allen). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family has requested that memorial contributions, in Alan's name, please be made to Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 280 N. Race St. Middletown PA 17057 or to the Malvern Retreat House at http://www.malvernretreat.com.
