We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025, at the age of 64, Susan K. Merrick of Hughesville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William S. Merrick; her stepgranddaughter Jolisa Montgomery; and her nephews, Caleb Smith and Zachary Barto. She is survived by: her parents, Fred W. Barto and Mary E. Barto (McCoy) of Hughesville; her children, Tina M. Smith-Bolden (Solomon) of Hughesville and Jeremy M. Smith (Shannon) of Cogan Station; her siblings, Kathy Phillips (Jim) of Williamsport, Fred W. Barto, Jr. of Lake City, FL and John Barto (Jean) of Watsontown; and her grandchildren, Brianna (Gage), Dylan, Dalton, Selena, Brandyn, Samuara, Ava and Destiny.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Muncy Valley Moose (875 PA-405, Hughesville, PA 17737).
