Shirley A. Holmes Obituary

We bid farewell to Shirley A. Holmes of Hughesville, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul L. Miller, Sr. and Bertha Jane "Palmer" Miller; and her siblings, Betty M. Glasgow and Paul L. Miller, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Dale C. Corson (Kandy) of Boise, ID; her stepsons, Thomas M. Holmes (Sharon) of Vandergrift, Chris A. Holmes (Suzanne) of Hughesville and Bryan L. Holmes (Beth) of Danville; and her siblings, Donald E. Miller (Eleanor) of State College, Mildred M. Stine of Rebersburg, Helen L. Hartley of Mechanicsburg and Dorothy R. Rudy (Don) of Spring Mills. She is also survived by three grandchildren, nine step grandchildren and eleven step great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home (120 W Main St, Millheim, PA 16854-0437). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Contributions in memory of Shirley may be given to the charity of donor choice.
