He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper W. Holmes and Lena E. Holmes (Weaver); and his former wife Celia J. Holmes (Fenstermacher). He is survived by: his sons, Thomas M. Holmes (Sharon) of Vandergrift, Chris A. Holmes (Suzanne) of Hughesville Pa and Bryan L. Holmes (Beth) of Danville Pa; his spouse Shirley A. Holmes (Miller); his stepson Dale C. Corson (Kandy) of Boise, Idaho.; and his sisters, Norma Whitmoyer of Muncy and Mildred Schreffler of Muncy. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
