It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen L. Deffenbaugh (Hughesville, Pennsylvania), born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 22, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald M. Lupold and Esther Lupold (Drum); and her husband George C. Deffenbaugh. She is survived by: her children, Susan L. Edkin (George) of Hughesville and Greg A. Deffenbaugh; her grandchildren, Greg L. Edkin of Middletown, CT and Heidi L. Gitschlag (Patrick) of Hughesville; and her great grandchild Harper R. Gitschlag of Hughesville.
