It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hannah Mae Strother (Hughesville, Pennsylvania), born in Stafford, Virginia, who passed away on September 16, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Massie and Grace C. Massie (Gaines); her husband Rev. Richard Strother; and her son Richard M. Strother. She is survived by: her children, Valerie A. Strother of St. Marcos, CA and Roderick C. Strother (Sandra) of Hughesville; and her siblings, Doris Hill of Stafford, VA, Elsie Anderson of Clinton, MD, Jeannette Johnson of Stafford, VA, Sarah Kendall of Stafford and Franklin Buckner of Fredericksburg, VA. She is also survived by six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
