He was predeceased by: his parents, Morton H. Taylor and Iris Taylor (Shaner); his son Drew E. Taylor; and his sister Helen Epstein. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn B. Taylor (Smith); his children, Michelle A. Bohlin (Eric) of Montoursville, Tracy R. Wilson (Mark) of Hughesville and Brett M. Taylor (Toni) of Hughesville; his siblings, Mary Buddendorf of Montoursville and Keith Taylor of Bloomsburg; and his grandchildren, Aaron Chilson, Luke Chilson, JaDe Wilson, Amanda O'Donnell, Christopher Bohlin, Alexander Bohlin, Brady Taylor and Brent Taylor. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
