She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Wendt and Mary Wendt (Kubik). She is survived by: her husband James C. Campbell; her sons, James P. Campbell (Sandra) of Richmond and Glen L. Campbell (Carolyn) of Birmingham, Ala.; her siblings, Marylou Martin of Lake Ronkonkoma, N. Y. and John Wendt of Calverton, N. Y.; her grandchildren, Aubrey Rees (John), Jared Campbell (Erin) and Tyler Campbell (Maggie); and her great grandchildren, Tessa and Tenley Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, it was Dorothy's wish as a two-time cancer survivor to please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
