He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Painter and Virginia Painter (Morrow); his former wife Gladys P. Painter (Rogers); and his stepson Don E. Schwartz. He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Painter (Nelson); his daughter Glenda D. Farrington (Charles) of Montoursville; his stepson Jeffrey R. Schwartz (Sharon) of Tyler, TX; his grandchildren, Marcey Snyder of Bloomsburg, Douglas Farrington of Wellsboro and David Farrington of Sanford, FL; and his stepgrandchildren, Melissa Grimes of Tyler, TX and Eric Schwartz of Whitehouse, TX. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
