She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter F. O'Connor and Dorothy O. O'Connor (Fenstemacher); her son Dale Lee Bower, Jr.; and her siblings, Jane I. Mausteller, Donald E. O'Connor and Robert F. O'Connor.

She is survived by: her children, Doug L. Bower (Theresa) of Hughesville, Scott Bower of Hughesville, Stacey J. Brown (Bill) of Hughesville and Melinda J. Bower of Hughesville; her grandchildren, Joshua Strickland, Courtney Tactuck (Omar), Zachary Strickland (Erin), Jordan Bower and Madison Bower; and her sister Nancy Long (Ronald) of Muncy.
