She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Earnest and Danie A. Herr (Robbins); her husband Donald Larue Stiger; her brothers, Chester L. Herr and Gordon L. Herr; and her son-in-law Dale M. O'Connor.

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna J. O'Connor of Hughesville and Nancy A. Peters of Exton; and her grandchildren, Gregory M. Peters (Julie), Kelley A. Rohrbaugh, David T. Peters (Marianne), Douglas S. O'Connor (Melanie) and David L. O'Connor (Marianne).
