Samuel Michael Granteed Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Michael Granteed of Hughestown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 24, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Granteed and Mary Capitano Granteed; his wife Jean Ann Melvin Granteed; and his brother Joseph Granteed, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Mary (Joseph M. Augello) of Virginia, Sam Granteed, Gary Granteed (Camilla) and Plains; and his sister Carmella Dalton of Syracuse, NY. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Special thank you to Golden Care, Mike Guarilla, Pat Florence and Dr. Mauer Biscotti for the excellent care they provided to Sam. A walk through visitation will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 6:30pm-8pm in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston following CDC guidelines of wearing a face covering and maintaining social distance. Mass of Christian Burial and Interment will be private.
