James Cravatta Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Cravatta of Hughestown, Pennsylvania, born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 3, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen Sabido; his parents, Salvatore Cravatta and Crucia Vella Cravatta; and his siblings, Ann Doyle, Salvatore (Sam), Leo and Joseph Cravatta.

He is survived by: his children, Christine Creedon (Michael) of Old Forge, Mary Kate Grande (Charles) of Old Forge, Samuel Cravatta, Tempe, Ariz, James Cravatta Jr. (Olga) and Reston; his grandchildren, Carolyn Creedon of Pittsburgh, Ill of Pittsburgh, Patrick Creedon of Pittsburgh, Dr. Kristina Hill (Jared Hill) of Pittsburgh, Karla Grande of Pittsburgh, Alex Cravatta and Reston; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Cravatta and Ethel Cravatta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

All those attending the visitation and funeral Mass are asked to wear a mask and observe social distancing.
