He was predeceased by: his parent Benjamin Renfer of Hughestown; his son George Renfer Jr.; and his brother Luther Renfer. He is survived by: his parent Esther Judge Renfer of Hughestown; his wife Emma Jean Howell; his children, Paul Renfer (Anne) and Suzanne Renfer of Hughestown; his sister Dolores Renfer of Hughestown; his daughter-in-law Darlene Renfer of Pittston; his grandchildren, Krista Renfer, Kristofer Renfer and Scott Renfer; his great grandchildren, Mieranda, Alex, Alissa, Camden and Brady; his stepgrandchildren, Ruth, Patrick, Reese and Rebecca; and also Harding.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to SPCA, 524 E. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
