It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Furry Thomas Derome of Hughestown, Pennsylvania, born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Gloria Ellmore and John Dalessandro. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Dalessandro DeRome; his daughters, Jodi Eike (Jason) and Kristy Gomberg (Paul); his grandchildren, Jianna, Jayda, Jordyn Eike and Ryder Gomberg; his sister Nicola DeRome; and his siblings-in-law, Theresa Ripa (Danny), Exeter, Jean Kizis (Edward) and Tony Dalessandro (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, from 5pm-8pm for a walk-through visitation, following CDC guidelines of wearing a face covering and maintaining social distance, in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street.
