With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William M. Progar of Houston, Pennsylvania, born in Strabane, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 12, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Progar and Rozalia Bobnar Progar; and his wife Veronica Barbish. He is survived by: his daughter Chris Hervol (Rick) of Strabane; his grandchildren, Jennifer Wolfe (Jeff) and Bill Hervol (Nina Aquino); his great grandchild Oliver Wolfe; his sister Rose Marie Lawrence (Robert) of Strabane; his children, William and Nancy; his granddaughter Lisa Hervol; and his brothers, Edward, Anthony and Joseph Progar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
