He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Fortunato and Matilda Ratenni Fortunato; his former wife Virginia Remailey Fortunato; his children, Frank, Allen, Cheryl and James Fortunato; and his brothers, Frank and Domenick Fortunato.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Fortunato Czernecki of Scott Township; his stepsons, John Reckner of Richeyville and Donald "Cub" Reckner of Missouri; and his siblings, Anthony Fortunato of Canonsburg and Margaret Alderson of Canonsburg. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
