He is survived by: his wife Irene Rankin (Gustavsen); his children, Cathy O'Connell (John), Donna Haber (Ray), Charles Rankin (Laura) and Dave Rankin; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Sean, Samantha, Rebecca, Jacob and Madison; and his sister Kathleen McCloskey.
