She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse W. Rugg and Dorothy Rugg (Greer); and her husband Jack Shaffer. She is survived by: her siblings, Donald Jr., Dorothy L. Hillard of Confluence, Beaty McClintock of Confluence and Douglas Rugg (Deb) of Confluence. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
