She was predeceased by: her significant other Edwin M. Ridley (Skinny); her parents, John R. Hopwood and Ida Pearl Hopwood; her siblings, Harold Hopwood, James Hopwood, Beuhla Hopwood, Adella Bailey (Beck), Glen Hopwood, Mike Hopwood and Pat Hopwood; and her grandson Will Garbart.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn J. Garbart (Robert), Lucinda L. Ridley (Cindy), Ed and Timothy A. Ridley (Kathy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask individuals donate to a charity of their choice or complete their Covid immunizations in Retha's memory.
