He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Dickhart and Doris Dickhart (Tubb); his wife Linda Dickhart (Metcalf); his children, Barbara "Barbie" Ann Faulkner and Jason Dickhart (Christine); his grandchildren, Matthew, Olivia and Aaron; and his brother Edward Dickhart. He was also cherished by loving nieces and nephews and many friends.
