He was predeceased by: his parents, John Simon and Gaynell Lucy Melius (Shaffer). He is survived by: his children, Michelle L. Baker (Kevin) of McConnellsburg and Bryan M. Melius (Amy) of Hopewell; his granddaughters, Katelyn Wilcox and Brooklyn Baker; his siblings, Donna J. Manges, Gladys Long, Richard "Dick" Melius, Dottie M. Long, J. Edward Melius, Susan K. White and Marlene McCabe; and his caregiver Debbie Abbott. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home, Inc. (5010 Railroad Ave, Broad Top City, PA 16621). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
