He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine M. Meany; and his parents, Frederick Meany and Grace Meany. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Spielvogel (Sean) and Robert Meany (Jean); his grandchildren, Sean Herman (Danielle), Brian Herman (Amy), Tiffany Gloor (Alex) and Robert Meany Jr.; and his sister Marietta Schriner. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
