He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Dodson and Marietta Dodson (Spiker); his wife Margaret Lucille Dodson (Koontz); his son Donald Lynn Dodson; and his siblings, Paul Dodson, Robert Dodson, Olive Clark, Ann Hunt, Marie Say, Fred Dodson and Louise Dodson.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Dodson (Loretta) and Julie Agnew (Dodson) of Blandon, PA; his daughter-in-law Maryellen Dodson (Ahern) of West Chester, PA; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Dodson, Sarah (Chris Beach), Margaret (Michael Savard), Gillian, Audrey and Rileigh Agnew; his great grandchildren, Samuel Beach, Benjamin Beach, Melanie Savard and Thomas Savard; and his sisters, Shirley Deshong (Arthur) and Donna Jean Horton (Chester).
