He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Parks and Anna Parks. He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Parks, Martha Kanagy (DeWayne), Lois Slocum (late James) and Miriam Bickerton (late Thomas); his wife Ida Mae Parks (Todd); and his son David Parks (Michelle) of Wellington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
