She was predeceased by: her husband George Girata; her son Anthony Girata; her siblings, Amelia, Norman (Mary), John, Tom, Richard, Eugene, Joseph and Saiad Mowad; and her sister-in-law Judy Mowad.
She is survived by: her children, George Jr. Girata (Linda), Elaine Sloan (Skinner), Marina Rosatelli (Gary) and Ted Girata (Cathy); her daughter-in-law Leslie Girata; her grandchildren, Bryan (Jamie), Brandi (Jamie), Gary Jr. (Ashley), Gregory (Alison), Blake, Chad (Katie), Vanessa, Victoria, Alexis, Ariana and Alex; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Gabriella, Jackson, Gia, Stella, Lena and Mila; her siblings, Edward Mowad and Vivian Godich; and her sisters-in-law, Mildred, Janice, Barbara, Gerry and Sally Mowad. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be sent in Carmella's name to St. Jude Children's Research or ALS.
