Alexander Yawor Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alexander Yawor of Hopewell, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline Holovieko and William Yawor; his wife Helen Brdar Yawor; his son-in-law Rev. Michael Semenko; his sisters, Olga Belich (Paul), Jenny Rychil (Joseph) and Irene Brenner; his nephew David Rychil; his nieces, Georgette Matychak and Roberta Joseph; and his great-nephews, Neil Balcer and John Kordowski.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Semenko (late Michael), Alex and Debra Yawor; his grandchildren, Melissa, Jeffrey Matrazzo, Stephanie, Kenneth Lauffer, Kristin, Christopher Shay, Megan Yawor and Mark Cowdrey; his great grandchildren, Nadine, Tessa Lauffer, Lily Matrazzo and Dr. Beverly Grabski; and his pet King.
Due to the resurgence of covid-19, there will be no public visitation and the funeral will be private.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Christian House, 82 Garfield Ave., East Palestine, OH, 44413, towards the construction of an outdoor pavilion for the residents.
