It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dale Mort (Hooversville, Pennsylvania), born in Somerset, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 14, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mort and Rose Mort (Weimer); and his siblings, Francis, William "Bill", Marlyn, Kenneth "Kenny", Alma Powers and Rosetta Leach.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Yule; his daughters, Rita Mort and Hope Barnes; his grandsons, Blake Barnes and Luke Shankel; and his sisters-in-law, Evelyn "Ev" Mort and Betty Mort. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in Dale's name to Holy Family Catholic Church, P.O. Box 187, Hooversville, PA 15936.
