He was predeceased by: his parents, David Gibbons and Martha Gibbons (Snyder); his wife Helen L. (Whitman); and his siblings, Esther Sollenberger, Arleen Junk and Thomas Gibbons.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Lee A. Whitman (Mildred) of Port Royal; and his son Honey Grove. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
