She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Mushala and Margaret Mushala; her husband Lawrence Scott Birney; and her sibling Jody Mushala. She is survived by: her children, William Scott Gordy and Diane Gordy; her grandchildren, Randy Gordy and Faren Gordy; her great grandchild Kylie; and her siblings, Robin Keesey and Bev Mushala.
