He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gross and Marjorie Gross (Whitelaw). He is survived by: his spouse Mims Gross (Nidecker); his daughters, Robin Thompson (Ken) of Elverson, Jill Newman (Jeff) of Lebanon, Kirsten Gross of West Chester and Bethanie Emery (Kevin) of Downingtown; and his siblings, Jack Gross, Tom Gross and Marjie Gross. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Richard's name may be made to Providence Church West Chester.
